Out of the top 20 rankings for pizza companies 4 Metro Detroit companies are on the list (Little Caesars, Domino's, Hungry Howies and Jet's Pizza) and 2 are in the top 5 (#2 Domino's, #4 Little Caesars)

Would you say it deserves some kind of pizza title?
I have notice Jet's Pizza has been expanding down in the southern States. So if you happen to live by a location, give it a try! Recommend Jet bread if your looking for a snack.

Never heard of Jet's Pizza and Hungry Howies and Little Ceasers SUCKS.
Jet's Pizza is the only one that I've never heard of or had. I had Hungry Howie's once when I was going to Michigan State. I used to get those 5 dollar large pizzas from Papa John's when it was more "underground" at the time. There was a location on Grand River in E.L.
Jet's Pizza is more of a Michigan franchise. But they have expanded to Florida, Texas, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Minnesota over the past years.
It's the "Corporate Pizza Capital", but that doesn't equate to quality necessarily. Although I wouldn't doubt that Detroit had great pizza. I was surprised how good pizza was in Wisconsin actually -- not your usual suspect!
Dominoes was once terrible, but since they made the change, it's much better.
Little Ceaser's isn't bad for the price. Not bad, actually.
I haven't had Hungry Howie's in years, though I do remember that they were known for their garlic crust pizza.
I haven't tried it since the change.
The change was due to 2 employees (one was a sex offender) in NC that video taped themselves putting the cheese in places you don't want to know and onto the pizza's- There was later a law suite, and it ended up being all over the news.
I'm not basing Domino's off that issue or anything, but that's when "the change" later occurred- On top of its already shabby reputation.
However, I like their buffalo wings.
