He's all over the political forum bashing Texas too.
He seems to have also lashed out at CA residents who have left or are thinking of leaving.
As far as caring for the environment goes, TX appears to fore-go any regulations, while CA appears to go by the book even if it means alienating/angering many others in the process.
The environment should be fostered, but personal well-being shouldn't be stepped all over either.
Balance.

I am especially fond of the comments on the statesman.com page which insist upon blaming any and all of the state's fiscal woes on those d*mn illegals. Is illegal immigration in Texas something in need of attention? Of course it is. But so too are the individuals who are gleefully and willfully taking advantage of illegal labor to wash the dishes of their restaurants, clean their office buildings at night, dig the ditches on their jobs, and watch their children. Were llegals the ones who lobbied the governor for a property tax cut, and who offered him the solution of "paying" for the cut with a business franchise tax which has failed to produce the equivalent funds to offset the cut? They're very clever those illegals.
