My thoughts were based on stereotypes, the idea of sleepy southerners but I would have said either Louisiana or Mississippi. Seems I would have been quite right, or at least according to this.

Call me lazy, but other than obesity, their criteria don't exactly have negative connotations for most people. If this was another attempt at bashing the South, it failed.

Woo-Hoo we're #14! But man am I way behind on my sleep times. The average is 4 hours more than I usually get a night. Have to work on that I guess.

I can't help but notice that 7 out of hte top 10 are all southern states. Either the rankings are bias, or the depiction of the lazy South was right after all.

We're not necessarily lazy here in the south, we're just not as likely to exercise, and our local cuisine consists of salted, buttered fat covered in butter and fat. With a side of fried fat.
