I am looking for your opinions on the best city in the United States according to my qualifications:

*Liberal
*Near the Ocean (within a 3 hour drive or less)
*Safe
*Diverse
*Interesting (LOTS of attractions)
*Natural Beauty
*Decent Size (metro area of 1-5 million people)
*Friendly
*Lots of Restaurants
*Walkable

I know that's asking a lot, but please tell me what you can come up with!

What do you mean by Lots of Things (Attractions)?

Are we talking places with lots of amusement parks, gokarts, arcades, fun centers and that sort of thing? Or are we looking at any point of interest like museums, amusement parks, fun centers, galleries, performing arts centers, etc...?

There is probably an argument for every big city in the USA to fit those criteria, and if this gets enough traffic, I'm sure there will be.
