If you had to pick an area to live in, would you rather live in a place that gets "too hot" or "too cold?" Of course what one deems being too hot or too cold is relative, but basically would you rather live in a place like Texas or Arizona that is known to be really hot in the summer, or a place like Denver or Boston that is known to be really cold in the winter? I know the obvious answer is San Diego, where it is never too hot or too cold, but I'm just looking to see what your opinion is.

Yeah Id have to say too hot, cause in the winter you get snowed in,where if you go outside your pants will get all messed up,and its bitter cold. But what am I saying Im used to that Im from the Midwest, plus I live in Colorado, and the weather in Colorado isn't as great as you think. But I don't like anything about Colorado, listen to good stories about Colorado from people who actually like it.In the summer in Cleveland it gets real hot through.

You've obviously never been to Denver.

Regardless, I've done the too-hot thing (spent 20 years in the tropics). I'm for the cold. You can always put on more clothing in the cold. You can't take off more clothing in the hot beyond a certain point. And the more snow, the better!

And as the saying goes, "There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing."

Cold. Hot weather sucks and seems to bring out the criminals. Plus heat kills.

Also, neither Denver nor Boston are particularly cold. When you factor in humidity, Boston's summers are far more dreadful than its winters, unless you're from the Deep South or something. Try Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, the Canadian Rockies and Prarie, etc if you want real cold.

And as everyone knows, no one has ever died from the cold.

Definitely cold, I hate hot weather. I would never pick Texas or any other "hot" state.

Default Cool, baby, cool!

I cannot take higher temperatures. I always say I want something fun to sweat for, not just standing there! But seriously, I get overheated easily and have passed out from the heat (no I don't like hot tubs, either).

The obvious answer is NOT San Diego to me -- I prefer four seasons (although my sister insists that SD has four seasons which one can tell by different flowers in bloom). I have found it too hot there at times, as a matter of fact. I love sweater weather, wearing cashmere and wool, and dressing up in scarves and boots. I love playing in snow even though I don't ski. I'd take a colder climate anytime.
