funny but very untrue. That would be like us making fun of you for a poor potato farmer, alcoholic who believes in Leprachauns! I realize that not only is this an outdated untrue stereotype but your not even from Ireland. Similarly, the place you make fun of existed years ago and still does in some rural areas. Certainly not the major cities that most of us are on here talking about.

Never thought I'd see the day but I back the Houstonions on this one.

To answer the qustion, I'd say Birmingham, AL, Kansas City, OK city, Indianapolis, Cinncinatti, Toledo, Little Rock, Sacramento, and Pittsburg. Oh, add Tampa and Hartford to that.

Seriously, can we knock it off with the threads that are basically just opportunities to run down someone else's city/state/region? We have enough acrimony on these threads without actively cultivating more of it.

It used to be San Jose, but thankfully it's picked itself up. Any place where people have money to throw around is going to have things to do, though.

Again alot of this stuff is just opinion,a city someone thinks is lame could be someone elses favorite city.I wouldn't let it upset you. Some people may really not like the cities they put in thier post.I mean I really do not like Colorado Springs or Denver,Id be lieing if I siad I did,but thats just my opinion, someone else probably loves those two cities, and thats good for them.I hope everybody eventually finds a place that they really like, cause it sucks when you have to live someplace that you don't like.

Exactly. It's like the same threads are made over and over to demean someone's city or state. This thread is nothing but a carbon copy of what are the worse cities in the US a couple pages ago.

I can't speak for "etc.", but the other 4 are not included. They have been big cities for longer than 5 decades.

I was with ya til you got to Buffalo. Not lame because it has a long distinguished history as a city, has identifiable, interesting neighborhoods, great parks and public spaces and wonderful architecture. Atlanta's arguable too, for the same reasons as Buffalo.
