Hi Everyone,
I am exploring and trying to find a new place to live currently I am in the Chicago area and ready for a change. I was wondering what city would closest fit this description.
-Not too urban but with things does has walkable areas with shops, restaurants, lounge and access to some public transporation.
-It has to be pretty with grass, plenty of trees, modern apartments and nice homes not Victorian!
-Warm weather
-Friendly people, easy to meet, with good job opportunities
Bonuses if it has pretty topography like mountains or lake within the city where I can feel like I am away and not so racially charged

Denver. I say Denver because summer is really warm and winter is actually much warmer than Chicago. Denver is a clean, growing city, that is urban, but well planned so it doesn't feel crowded. It also isn't terribly expensive.
Dallas. It sounds like you want an office space type environment. If you watch that movie, that is an exact depiction of Dallas life for a 20 something. A lot of office parks, modern garden style apartments (3-4 buildings of 2-3 storys with clubhouse, gym, pool), and warm weather.
Miami. A bit more expensive, but only major city in the tropics in the US. Apartments and urbanness vary.
Bergen Norway,(the average low for january is above freezing). It's also similar culture to Michigan.
Lol Norway is not similar to Michigan in any way. However I could see parts of Norway being compared to a place like Seattle.
