I think what I like most is that it is a medium sized city with a small town feel. I also like that traffic is not too awful bad either. The cost of living is great too!

Default What I Love about North West Arkansas

My family loves Northwest Arkansas! Bentonville, Rogers, Fayetteville, Bella Vista. We are #1 on Sperlings top 10 places to live. The area is Beautiful with hills and valleys, rivers and lakes. The culture is diverse and co-exists for the most part very peacefully. Abundant job opportunities, jobless rate is 3.5, growing population, lots of recreation, it's just a great place to live!

Mpls/St Paul:
Close to the northwoods, downtowns are still decent, great city neighborhoods for families, good schools and school choices, 1/2way decent public transit, diverse population and interesting ethnic neighborhoods and restaurants, realtively progressive politics, excellent healthcare and abundant higher educational instituions and opportunities, 4 seasons, great summer weather (except this year ), educated populace, centrally located.

New Mexico: lower cost of living, low humidity, mild winters, beautiful scenery, and no traffic. I mean, none.

Default Houston

The big-city amenties like top-notch culture/arts (great symphony, opera, ballet, theater, museums)... theatre district is second in size only to NYC's Broadway. Several of the local museums attract traveling exhibits from overseas that only hit 3-4 US cities, Houston often being one of them.
The diversity and international atmosphere; only 2 other US cities have more foreign consulates. Lots of ethnic restaurants and festivals to sample.
Lots of great restaurants (named best restaurant city in Texas), and you don't have to spend a fortune on most. Good shopping too.
Nice downtown, I like that the pro sports venues are in downtown and not out in some 'burb.
Tons of great jobs, almost anyone can get a job and move up quickly in Houston if they have the drive to do so. Lots of smart people between Rice University and the Texas Medical Center (largest grouping of hospitals and medical research facilities in the US).
Lots and lots of big trees and greenery around the city. Lots of little waterways too.
The nearby water recreation (boating and fishing... Bay Area southeast of Houston has the 3rd largest number of pleasure boats in the US). Galveston doesn't have the best best beaches around (they're decent though), but the city has lots of neat Victorian architecture and the historic Strand is very nice. Oh, and you can hop on a cruise boat and go for a Caribbean holiday from the Port of Galveston...
