Yeah, nothing too complicated. Just looking for the cheapest city in the west with the award-winning Pacific Standard Time (PST). Does anyone know what this may be? Note that I would like a city, not a rural area.
Bummer, I didn't get a chance to answer. Oh well I will anyway.
Kiplinger apparently lists Kennewick, Spokane, and Yakima in Washington as the cheapest on the West Coast. Of California cities Bakersfield was the cheapest. Of California metros of over a million Sacramento wasn't listed as too much above US average and City-Data places it as average. Both sources agreed San Francisco is expensive, although possibly this post was just another promotional vehicle (pun not intended) for the car-less lifestyle.
I know I probably shouldn't but I will.
What the hell is "award-winning Pacific Standard Time"?
Are you trying to say one time zone is better than the rest?

Maybe he's under the impression bars stay open later...?

When I first read this thread yesterday I was going to ask what sorts of awards can a time zone win and then I thought perhaps it's some sort of obscure slang term and so I didn't.
