I saw over five dollars a gallon in Westhampton Beach. That is not representative because it is the only gas station in a major resort area. I saw $4.79 on the approach to the Whitestone Bridge on the Hutchinson River Parkway. Same story, a monopoly station. Most of the competitive stations in the area cluster around $3.89.
$3.59 at Costco and prices a little higher at regular stations. NYC suburbs
