I like the 200+ lists here on CD, but let's face it, it's a nightmare to navigate
through, and contrary to promises, they seem ambivalent about changing that.
Anyhoo, what are the sites you go to for no bs, hard stats about demographics,
geography, weather, crime, economy, etc etc..as opposed to the 15 page long
threads of personal opinion, vitriol you find strewn all over the internet.

This site gives you some of those things on a state, county and municipality (pop. 5,000+ only) level. It takes some time for the larger MSAs, but it's easy enough to tot up all the counties.
