I love cruising the back roads in the Dakotas. And they are the nicest states to get out of the car and and talk to people, too.

When you meet a car coming the other way (rare), just stop and open your window, and chat with them as long as you like.

Yes. But that is why I included territories. I am pretty sure whenever I go to the USVI, Guam and Hawaii all three will most possible be above the Tampa Bay Area in my list of favorites. I also have to go California and see how much I like San Diego and San Francisco. There are the only areas that could make it to the top above the Tampa Bay Area but not above Puerto Rico, Hawaii, USVI and Guam.
