There are quite a few cities which go into hibernation in winter. Which are the most vibrant cities in the winter months? (which probably also means vibrant all year around?)

I'd say a lot of the smaller northern tier cities might tend to...the coastal cities in Florida work the winter shift for them. If only we could get people to do that for each other.

Skiing towns are, of course, most vibrant during the winter ie. Park City, Aspen, Whistler.

Those areas don't count. I'm talking about the other 250+ neighborhoods in the city.

I second Anchorage. Leavenworth, Washington is also a good one!

You mean cold/wintry winter cities, right? You're not talking about vibrant beaches in Florida.....or does it not matter? I guess I read the topic as "which places are still vibrant when it gets cold during winter?": if that's the case, chalk the Twin Cities up as being one of the few colder cities that actually celebrates the cold weather. I think some Northeastern cities in VT, NH, ME may also celebrate winter, and I want to say Buffalo seems to really enjoy winter.
