In Northern VA it still looks like winter on April 4th. The trees are bare, no cherry blossoms, grass is brown and there are few if any spring flowers. How about your hometown?

Report in about signs of spring in your community. Are the trees turning green? Are there flowers? Has the grass turned green? Dogwoods? Azaleas? Anything?

When is the peak of the new spring greenery in your community?

My neighbor was doing yard work in a bikini last weekend. Spring has sprung.

We had 70 degrees on Easter, and it was in the 60s for a few days before and after. Beautifully sunny! Now we are back into the 50s with clouds and rain, but we have gotten a taste so far for sure.

I live in Texas and I've already laid out in the sun several times in shorts and a tank top. We've also gotten out boat out on the lake on a beautiful day earlier this week when it was sunshiny and in the 70s.

But today it's rainy and in the 40s. Oh well! I see the fresh, new green leaves everywhere and the dogwood and redwood trees are blooming, so spring is in the air!
