40 year old lady here looking for a new city to call home. I am moving from Atlanta, GA with a job and 2 dogs in tow. I am looking for a small to medium size town with low crime, culture, outdoor activities, all 4 seasons and good dating scene.

What is a medium size city to you? Just for a reference.

If you go by responses to these types of questions on here - you'd get either Denver, Minneapolis or Seattle 90% of the time...really no matter what the criteria is.

Realistically, I think you should consider Columbus, OH or Kansas City, MO. Both are medium sized cities with low crime, low cost of living and good economies.

I would recommend larger college towns. Check out Charlottesville VA, Chapel Hill NC, Madison WI or Ann Arbor MI
