Don't think of money, affordability, don't over think it. Just think of your ideal warm getaway and type it here

I have no clue because I don't like extreme heat but I don't like to be cold either.
I guess wherever it is between 65 - 75 degrees with a slight breeze 99% of the time.

If/when I live up north, I'm sure the cold weather would start to become redundant after the holidays, so I can see myself spending the entire month of January in a place where it's reliably warm. Most of the options sound great.

Hawaii on that list, followed by Argentina and Florida. My big "other" would be the Mediterranean around southern Italy or one of the Greek Islands, Turkey. I don't need HOT, just having it be warm is fine with me.

Miami - because it's the quickest to get to from the mid-Atlantic (only a 2-hour flight). Plus, it's a dramatic difference from here in the winter. I made that trip once when the northeast coast just came out of a blizzard and Miami was 88 degrees.

I've also been to other tropical places in the Caribbean, Asia, etc.

Myrtle Beach is warm enough and much more quiet in Winter. Second choice would be Hilton Head and third would be Edisto Island. Then Santee, SC would come in as number 4.
