What? Isn't B'more = "Harm City" I mean "Charm City"?

Nutmegger and Bay Stater for CT & MA, respectively. The indigenous roots and terminal form of each state's name don't make for a standard English-suffix demonym that is credible to the ear or eye (I realize there are those who have posited such for those states, but they've never made to sustained usage in regular conversation or writing). (It's not the same as Hoosier vs Indianan for IN.)

Aberdeen, WA = Aberdonian, like the one in Scotland

Non-ethnically Hawaiian people from Hawaii typically identify as just "from Hawaii"

It's not like people say "Birminghamian" either (more often "<person> from Birmingham"). I'd guess more people might even lean into "Birminghammer" (akin to "Yellowhammer").
