Do you think American Indians will ever grow to be a larger er minority group like blacks or Hispanics? Maybe even have a city dominated by them like how there are a few chocolate cities in America and quite a few cities with a very large Hispanic populations?

Also if they were to become a more major minority where do you think it would be? They states where their reservations are or would they move somewhere else

No. I think at this point, it's statistically impossible.

There are 7 reservations in my state, if they were going to become a larger majority, this would be the place.
However, some have assimilated into society off the rez, and so many folks have at least some Indian blood, and intermarriages are still common, it is far more likely they will simply do as they are doing now and just be part of the general population.
They have their own culture they celebrate just as the Norwegians or Scots or Irish or Germans etc. They can be proud of who they are, while still belonging to the general culture of the United States as a whole.

Some do push the minority status stuff for more benefits on the rez, but the reservations are separate sovereign nations within the country, so they are majorities on the rez, just one of us off the rez.

Very different situation from the blacks, more like the Asians who come here to work and be part of the country.

that's more of what I meant like will they eventually become more integrated with American society like how black people eventually became apart or how Hispanics have in our country today

I don't know. The demographics of the Native Americans are strange. On one hand, they have some of the lowest birth rates in America. But their population is increasingly bolstered by people who are part Native and are now describing themselves as native on the census.

Because of those two situations going on it is hard to really see what their demographic future of that group will be.

But, from my understanding, the Native Americans bolstered their numbers the past century by x10. If they did that for another century then I am sure they could have a few cities with notable presences.

In NY, Salamanca is about 17% Native American(was 21% in 2000) and is surrounded by a reservation. Salmon River SD in Northern NY is about 55% Native American, with some others in the state having notable to pretty high percentages. There are small towns/cities in many states with substantial Native American populations.

Until they stop living in "tribes" like humans did back during the stoneage. They're never really gonna make a sizeable minority group like blacks or Hispanics or Asians for that matter.

The Native Americans can do whatever the hell they please. We annihilated them so the least we can do is let them do whatever the hell it is they want to do.

They hardly make up 1% very sad.

Unless they start to have 8 kids no way.Like I say they hardly make up 1%. Most of them are all over place so the number is lower.

That is sooooo two centuries ago. People get conquered all the time. It has always happened and always will happen. No point in living in the past and dwelling on it.
