Not sure if this is the category I am supposed to be posting or if my post has a real answer....

I am looking for a city that is similar to Boulder, but doesn't get as cold. I like the size, culture, mountains, constant sun. Just not into skiing or the snow very much.

Ideas?

Thank you

I just read about all three of those places and there were so many complaints haha. I guess I just need to see for myself because Im sure people complain about Boulder, too.

Don't go to Eugene if you want constant sun.

I second the Chico suggestion.

Chico's roughly the same size (depending on the source you use for population statistics), but it's generally around 87-88,000. The elevation is only about 245 feet above sea level or so, so snow is very rare, but it's tucked right up against the foothills so it's not too far from snowy weather if you want to ski or snowboard. It's a university town too so it has a pretty diverse culture.

Yep that's what immediately came to mind when I saw the title to this post. I grew up in the Mother Lode foothills and went to Chico State- I just visited Boulder for the first time last summer. Now Chico doesn't quite have the charming yet better developed downtown or striking mountains that Boulder has but they both do have a very similar college town with beautiful surroundings and neighborhoods vibe.
