Just look up Midwestern states and they will be in every definition,how are they Northeastern when they don't boarder Atlantic ocean or have bodies of waters that go directly to the Atlantic??

Because looking at the US map, when there is no Midwest and you split the country into 4 parts (NE,SE,SW,NW) instead, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin are Northeastern States. Any state doesn't have to border an ocean in order to be Northeastern. Tennessee, which is a Southeastern State, doesn't border an ocean and Tennessee is still considered a Southeastern State. The same thing for Illinois and Indiana, except that both states are considered Northeastern States.

Those states boarder the Great Lakes lol,start a thread and see how many people say that Indiana,Ohio,Illinois and all those other states you named are all Midwestern that was basic Geography class lol

No way are Indiana and Illinois northeastern states. You can't exclude the Mid-West and then have regions like Northeast, Northwest, etc.
