In Ohio State Buckeye Football-crazy Columbus, when they were in the Rose Bowl years ago, they had a book store that advertised the "I Don't Care About The Stupid Rose Bowl" book sale.
Pretty brilliant. And I'll bet they had a good crowd.
I LOVE football, but I get it. Gets to be a bit much quite often, especially in the Columbuses of the world.

I am Dallas, SMU, TCU, Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks and what not! One is over, another one begins. FC Dallas is rubbish. Heck MLS on a whole is not good. But moving just coz of a sport sounds a bit absurd.

College football leaves me scratching my head. Who cares/goes crazy about a bunch of college kids.

Football for me (the real one) all the time!

Or maybe that's just because I'm personally not really into football....
As long as you don't look at TV ratings

Move up to DENTON. Football there is an afterthought, if not forgotten entirely

I would say anywhere college football is bad or college sports doesnt mean much like alot of big cities. DC New York .Gameday can literally change the entire feel of a College town.

Minnesota is pretty lukewarm towards football. Nobody pays attention to the Gophers, and while the locals like the Vikings, they fancy themselves more of a hockey state than anything.

I wish!

My office would be 35 miles one way. NFL i can switch off, or dont pay attention when in a sports bar! But can't avoid the drive.

Trying to engineer a move back to England, but with the current EU immigration problem, i don't think they will allow it!

I was going to say this. Here in east TN its HUGE. GO VOLS!!

Ill add this too, better avoid the Big Ten country as well, almost as die hard up there. Avoid serious football devotion and still be in USA??? Maybe Hawaii or Alaska? still gonna find it there but maybe not as fanatical. Parts of New England possibly but then there is the Patriots. Why on earth would anyone hate football??? Sounds almost like hating America and small children.
