What are some of the cities/towns where you get to see alot of the older cars (pre-1980s) other than the car shows (such as driveways, parked on the street, grocery stores and driving down the street/road).

I'm in the Dallas area and we see them frequently. Most days I see two everyday when I go into my garage though. Lots of older classic and antique cars around here that some people still use as a "daily driver".

SoCal in general - cars don't rust and last a lot longer. It was odd to see so many older cars in such great shape there.

Birmingham. People just don't really get rid of cars back home, they drive them to til the wheels fall off.

Also, Los Angeles has a lot of older cars on the road. They may or may not be in car shows, but many of them deserve to be. In Southern California, I noticed that older cars are almost kept in immaculate condition, whereas in the South you have just as many older cars and cars that are just as old as anything in SoCal but they tend to be more beat up and barely running, as opposed to being fully restored.

I'm really glad to see that the people in Birmingham and Los Angeles are keeping their cars back home and that they drive them till the wheels fall off, I think the older cars have more character and personality and they're also classier looking, I personally don't like the new cars at all.

Me if I were to own a car I would keep it for many years and keep driving it.

Are you talking about Los Angeles or anywhere in SoCal?

Sounds like Dallas is the kind of place where I wanna go if people still use their cars as a daily driver, I really admire the fact that people would take good care of their classic cars rather and keep them forever rather than buy a car every several years or lease them every 2 years.

Everytime I have been to places in Florida, I seem to see a lot of older cars in great shape. Could just be a coincidence.
