I will say one of the most underrated, unheard of, under the radder,no one knows nothing about, never talked about city to me is Mobile,Al. I visited Mobile which is a charming small coastal town. The city was not what I expect it to be. Mobile has these large trees, I believe they call them live oaks. The limbs on those trees stretch across a 5 lane major highway in the city.It gives a feeling that you are driving under a oak tunnel canopy or something. I wish I had my camera with me but I didn't. And the city has a unique culture and atmosphere that is different from the rest of Alabama I believe. This New Yorker enjoyed his time in the small coastal town. I liked Huntsville and even though they are in the same state but they are apples and oranges. They are defiantly different outside of topography but I had to give a nod to Mobile.

Monroe? That's a terrible place, you should have put Lafayette in it's place.
