What is the best city if you're not worried about money? Important criteria would be:
  • Walkability
  • Nightlife
  • Culture (neighborhoods, cuisine, museums, etc.)
  • Climate
  • Outdoor Recreation
  • Energy (does the city feel alive, or is it boring/dead?)
  • Young People (no retirement cities please!)
  • Not too huge or crowded (NYC, Chicago, LA = too big for my taste)

I've narrowed my list to the cities on the poll, but feel free to mention cities not on the list. Thanks!

Of the list above, San Francisco, then San Diego, then Portland.

Probably San Diego, but none of them are really that desirable to me.

Of these.... San Fran inland. Anywhere? I'd have to say western Wisconsin. It's absolutely beautiful over there, I wish Minnesota had rolling hills like that.

OR the Carolina's/Tennesee. There is something about that area that I am drawn toward.

Out of those? I'd say Portland...because I'd have the money to enjoy it to its fullest.

From the list San Francisco than San Diego.

Been there. Beautiful, but also empty. Which I suppose might be a plus for some people.

None of the above. Big metro areas don't appeal to me. I'd live in Yorktown, VA.
