Why did you choose to move to where you currently live? Or, alternatively, what's the number one reason you stay where you are? The poll is set up to where you can only pick one option, but feel free to elaborate and give your second, third, fourth, etc. most important considerations when deciding where to live as well.
Cost of living (I live in a VERY cheap city)
Culture/lifestyle (people here are VERY nice, friendly people)
Family/friends
A fourth would be employment but I'm a person who feels I can always find ways to make money so specific employment with a specific company is not all that important to me.
I also like the climate here, we get 4 seasons and I used to live in the south and I missed mild summers and an actual winter with snow.
I chose "other" due to my primary reason for moving from Atlanta back to my hometown was school quality for my kids and a desire to escape traffic jams. I can get to work now in less than 10 minutes and get 2 additional hours per day with my family that I didn't have before. And I make more money now versus what I made then.
This is hard, as they are all important, but I went with cost of living because super employment regions usually means less overall paycheck due to high COL like Cali or Chicago or NYC. Also climate and landscape is important, but there's not that many areas in the US with genuinely crappy landscape or climate, and with lower COL you can have more money to travel and see other parts of the world, other climates and landscapes. I never feel like I use urban amenities to their full potential so that one goes off the list.
I took this job for the pay but I chose the location to escape the ice of NE Oklahoma and NW Arkansas winters and to be close to the beach/Gulf of Mexico. There was no ONE single reason.
Location: East of Seattle since 1992, 615' Elevation, Zone 8b - originally from SF Bay Area

With only one choice I chose climate, but it was also Landscape / Natural features, and cost of living. You could also say employment since I bought a business here but we had already decided to move before that.
Didn't choose it, was born here. We plan to move in the next year and reasons will be landscape, lifestyle and amenities. Our top choice would be more amenities.. Where we are now there's very little.
Employment, with family/friends as a close second.
What living here has taught me is that temperate weather and beautiful scenery do not make a great city. Looking to leave as soon as I can.
