Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Although I do agree that when Latinas are skinny, they are usually the most attractive ones in the room. But I've rarely seen fit Latinas who are of lower income.
I am poor. I am also ugly. I had previously never connected these dots.
Not sure what to make of this revelation.
I first learned about this in Sociology 101 book in 1986. Specifically it mentioned that wealthy men tend to marry attractive women. Somehow I can't imagine this truth being in any textbook today.
So anyway, my question is: are there any areas of the US where it's not uncommon to see physically attractive people in the lower income bracket? Are there cities in which the poor folks are not overwhelmingly obese?
Pretty much any college towns, any cities with lots university/college students around.
This. There are a lot of broke, but attractive college goers. After college, well meh.
