My first encounter with Philly was relatively good, and don't get me wrong, the city is great, the sports, food, skyline, jobs, things to do, etc. But the people are in fact a whole different story, and thus my reasoning for never considering a move to Philly, though it is a nice place to visit and get out of my hometown .

I have never lived in St. Louis but I used to go there a lot. I always found it to be a very open, friendly place.

I think Albuquerque is a good place for outsiders, there are so many people here from the NW and NE. Most people here dont care where you come from your just another person. People here also dont seem to be too nosy about where you come from.

Abq is very laid back and pretty welcoming with people wanting to show outsiders all that there is to offer

I found Denver to be pretty good when I moved there

Phoenix was by far the easiest

Mpls was by far the most difficult - a lot of people really suspect why you would want to move there

I actually had a blast in philly - there were some idiots for sure, especially when I'd go to watch my sports teams - but for the most part the people there were pretty cool and really didn't care where you were from, they just cared if you were a standup guy and social enough to BS a little bit while waiting for a bus, a beer or even walking down the street

You've obviously spent the minimum amount of time here possible b/c for one thing they could care less if you're 'standup'...in fact quite the opposite is revered here
But that's all this place is to most people is a 'party place' anyway^
