Middle-America is the best for a single man. Even if the actual male:female ratio is the same, the females in many areas of the Midwest and South tend to be more educated/ambitious than their male counterparts. I know many educated, professional, good-looking women (even in their 20s) who are frustrated and single because the men who aren't already married are either losers or working low-wage/unskilled jobs with no intention of moving up.
