In my opinion:

1. Coeur d'Alene (I know that so many will argue against this one though as I know that so few like it)
2. Lake Tahoe
3. Chicago
4. Chelan
5. Put-In-Bay

I'm not sure all th Chain of Lakes are technically in Minneapolis, but some must be. Shouldn't that city be on the list?

I would say Coeur d"Alene ID, Lake Lure NC, Minneapolis MN, Orlando FL, Put-In-Bay OH, and Lake Havasu City AZ.

Ithaca and Geneva in NY are a couple of nice, smaller cities on a Finger Lake.

Seneca Lake 618 ft is the deepest lake east of Idaho that isn't a Great Lake.

Sandpoint, Idaho on Lake Pend Oreille is worthy. This lake is the fifth deepest in the USA.

I am confused over the comment from the OP about Coeur d'Alene which is a major tourist destination and incredibly beautiful area. But the OP does post some rather strange threads in the Idaho forum.
