This was not neccessary. Also, Texas won't be turning blue for a while. However, outside of the major Texas cities themselves, it is conservative.

Texas is actually getting more mild, and is getting accused of not being conservative enough. everyone who is drop dead conservative claims that DFW, Houston, El Paso, Austin, and whatnot are as bad as Southern California, which is true to a CERTAIN extent... I see more of California in Texas each day...
Nothign against you or anything. But where have you heard texas is being accused of not being conservative enough. I'd like to read on that.

I've lived in Houston for almost 30 years, it's pretty conservative, but starting to turn blue in some areas, but generally conservative.
