Technically, it's in Missouri, which is in the Midwest. It might seem like it's southern, and it may be, but Missouri isn't classified as being in the South. They don't split states up.

It's not just your opinion, it's fact. People seem to like to say Missouri is southern...just because parts of it seem southern, doesn't make it so. Missouri is a part of the Midwest...like it, or not.
