We are moving closer to WV to be closer to my family and friends. We want somewhere with snow and all four seasons. (we are in Texas right now)
We want anime cons and comic book stores and things to do and try but most of what ive seen are cities in SC and NC but i heard it does not snow often there.
I don't want to live in a mud hole but i don't want to much city and not enough hiking and trees.
Idk what to do, i feel like ive looked everywhere. Help?
The only anime con of which I am aware is Otakon, which has been in Baltimore for many years but will be moving to Washington starting next year due to needing larger facilities. Of course, this is only one weekend out of the year, so you wouldn't want to base your relocation decisions solely on that.
Where in West Virginia do your family and friends live? This would help in deciding where you might want to locate. Is there a reason why you don't want to live in West Virginia itself?
Thank you guys for helping.
I use to live in WV, and though its awesome to be at its just not for me. My family lives in Boone County but driving isn't a problem. I started looking at AR but im just scared to move and find myself living somewhere empty.

Unless they work from home, most people of non-retirement age move to where they can find work as their first priority then look for towns near to the job that meet their other expectations.
