It didn't really sound like he had a clear identifiable accent, so it sounded neutral to me. If I had to guess, I would of said Midwestern or California.
sounded like the east coast to me, but he has flat vowels so maybe the great lakes. If he is from chicago, he must be from the north side/north suburbs. I might go as far as saying he's of jewish descent
Interesting, this person is from Chicago? Just from listening to it, I heard NCVS features especially when he said words like not and bother, but does anyone else think his vowel in words like long and sean sound vaguely eastern? Like a very mild version of NYC and Philadelphia pronunciations. Interesting version of the Chicago accent.
I wouldn't have got Chicago specifically, but I could tell he was NOT from California or anywhere on the West Coast the moment he said "flocks" and "hot." That vowel just isn't used here.
George Clooney sounds like he is from the lower Midwest with some of the more distinguishing peaks of the accent suppressed. His accent wouldn't stand out in a Cincinnati chili parlor.
