Which would you rather move to and why? For me, it’s a toss up. Columbia, MD is by far in the most cosmopolitan area and I love DC and upscale type stores,, but Columbia, MO has a lot of beautiful natural areas and I live feeling like I’ve gotten away too. Columbia, SC feels like a good mix but still doesn’t have it all, and is rather far from it without things like an Apple store or Cheescake factory, though they aren’t necessarily needed. Thoughts?

Columbia MO is a nifty, rather typical, large college town, with the state capitol Jefferson City nearby.

Columbia MD is a suburb. It was actually a 60's planned city.

Never been to Columbia SC, though I've been to SC. Wouldn't be my preference.

I'll call it a tie between MO and MD.

Columbia MD is a planned suburb of Baltimore, so it doesn't have a real city feel.

Columbia SC is more a city, better weather, palm trees.

As a native SC'er, Columbia, SC for me. It has a little more going on than most know.

Columbia SC wins for me. As stated it has much more going on than most know and punches well above it's size in terms of amenities (given the city's population is just 133K) due to it's status as state capital, major college town (U of South Carolina) and large military base (Fort Jackson).

I like Columbia, SC. There's really a surprising amount to do there. Feels like more of a complete city that the other 2 Columbia's. Like its location between Charlotte and Charleston.

Columbia SC-the city is underrated I think and the location near mountains and ocean is what swings it for me.
