Cleveland
Boston
I've driven through charlotte, and flown into and out of charlotte numerous times (at least 4 times in the past two years), but never actually visited Charlotte.
From Minneapolis for me it is Milwaukee, because if I am going to drive that far in that direction I may as well take the extra hour and go to Chicago.

Next week I'll knock one off my list. Never been to Grand Rapids MI (metro 1 million) and it's about 5 hours away. Most vibrant metro area most people know nothing about.
I live in St. Louis, and I like to think that I get around quite a bit. I also used to live on the East Coast (Mid Atlantic). The major cities I have never been to (excluding a fly through) would be:
Minneapolis - 559 miles
Detroit - 532 miles
I have never been too or touched down in
Cleveland - 562 miles
Birmingham - 506 miles (guess this is the winner?)
Albuquerque - 1,040 miles
San Antonio - 902 miles
Austin - 832 miles
Side note - interesting to me that Texas cities (and bordering New Mexico) are so much further than the others listed
I live in Massachusetts now and previously in New York and I've never been to Philly that i can remember, though I have driven by on the highway many times--just never got off the highway! Why, I don't know. Just never had any reason to go there.
Not a fan of cities, but they are hard to avoid. Would like to see Edmonton. Came within a hundred miles a couple of years ago, but heading home from Alaska and the weather turned white.
