Cleveland -- 712 miles
Detroit (Unless you count the airport) -- 725 miles
Boston -- 1,175 miles
Minneapolis (Again, airport) -- 1,075 miles
San Antonio -- 862 miles
Salt Lake City -- 1,767 miles
I've lived in Germany and Japan, and traveled extensively overseas, but I have lived in Texas for 25 years and never been to Mexico. I've also never been to Canada.
I'm in Denver right now but I've never stopped in KC. I drove through twice when I moved out here from the East Coast but that was over 7 years ago. I haven't been close since.
It is likely the Kansas City metropolitan area is too Protestant and Republican for a user named "unbeliever," who relocated from the East Coast to Denver.
