...even though the typical Somerville triple decker is an unadorned wooden box as compared to the elaborate rigging of the typical Dorchester triple decker and the more graceful lines of the typical Roxbury (mainly mission hill) three decker. Mattapan's are a couple decades newer than the Rox-Dot versions and therefore less ornate but at least everyone has a porch and big windows.
