Depends on where in the USA you are. But honestly, I'd just stick to English and Spanish. There are some areas with large Chinese populations, so perhaps learning mandarin or Cantonese could help you. I'd just say take whatever language interests you- if you are in New York, LA, or Houston, or something like that, I'm sure you'll find other speakers of whatever language you choose to pursue.
Depends where you are BUT I would say Chinese ISN"T useful unless you are Asian-American. I would instead say French, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, or what ever the big non English/Spanish/Chinese language is in your city.
Unless you’re going into a career where you’ll be traveling, or hosting/dealing with those, from China, Germany, Japan, etc. you won’t be using it much except in restaurants where they’ll probably think you’re butchering it anyways. But go for it, anything that challenges your mind is good for you.
