Morgan, Utah. It's up the canyon from Ogden, UT that would have all your city facilities. SLC less than an hour away. East Canyon Reservoir is just outside of town, with the Weber River running through town (though East Canyon Creek feeds the res). Lots of open space. A bit of snow, not too, too hot in the summer.
