It does, I lived in East Texas for 2 years and South Louisiana for 24.

Thoughts on Seattle and Tucson? I’ve had those on my radar too, but I’m not sure if they’re a good fit.
My daughter has allergy issues. Seattle was bad. She ended up moving.

It really depends on the allergy. Seattle was better than eastern Washington, but still awful.

I have a winter place in Tucson. You might want to carefully investigate Tucson. Dust, lots of it. Also Tucson, has lots of elevation change in the immediate area.

Leading to reaction to pollen drifting in from different ecological types just a few miles away.

Ideally, you want a FLAT area to minimize the exposure to different pollens.

Oh, I lived in Idaho...it is a very high tax state. On the plus side, the state government really doesn't waste taxpayers dollars, but the cost of government services is very high due to terrain and until recently low population.

Good luck....tell us when you find the place. My daughter would love to know where that is located.
