Brevard, NC is known as the “Land of Waterfalls” because it has a unique combination of a lot of rainfall (boarderline temperate rainforest I believe) and quick elevation changes along the escarpment. I’ve read the area has upward of 100*waterfalls.*

My question is, where else exists like this where there are a lot of waterfalls in the same area?

The Columbia River Gorge between Troutdale (a suburb of Portland) and Hood River. Just in this 45 mile stretch of road, there are well over 100 waterfalls.

Thanks everyone! I had a feeling upstate NY and the PNW would come up. TN and AL were surprises though!
