How many states have you been through, what states have you been through and which one(s) was/were your favorite(s)?
I have been through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. That makes 25 total (okay okay, DC isn't a state, it's a district, but whatever).
I loved South Dakota and South Carolina. Those were the two most beautiful states, in my opinion. South Dakota has some gorgeous rolling hills in the far east, and the Black Hills are absolutely wonderful. South Carolina has some very beautiful scenery as well, it's warm, and subtropical, and very green.
I have been to all 50 states more than once and many quite a few times.
My favorite depends on my mood but will center on the scenery aspect of it.
But there are certain places in states my wife and I liked and stand out above the rest. 1880 town in SD was great, all of SD is very nice in scenary, I could just stand there and stare for hours it seems.
Southern Utah has some great parks and scenery, so wide open, makes someone feel small in the world, refreshed.
Alaska has some feeling to it like you are on some frontier land, the scenary (especially along the coast) is great, almost too much to even take in.
Hawaii, ignore the touristy stuff and take in the island beauty, the water, it is very nice but tropical settings are my favorite.

Well, you know that song...."I've been everywhere" Well, that's pretty much me. It's way easier to say which states I HAVE NOT been to.
My personal favorites are Florida, Texas, Louisiana, Missouri and Arkansas. I love Gulf beaches. LOL Kentucky and Tennessee are also great.
My least favorite are Colorado, Colorado and Colorado. Did I mention that I don't care for Colorado? I am not overly fond of California either.
I prefer deep south hospitality, food and the friendliness of the people there. I do not find people in New England states less friendly, however, they show it in different ways that folks in the south.

it's okay. The people from California aren't very fond of California, either. That's why they've all moved up to Oregon and Washington.
I've lived in WI, IL, and NV. I'm currently in transition, so we'll see what happens next.
Anyway, I've visited: California, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Washington state, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Tennessee, Minnesota, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, and DC.
So that's 16 (visited) and 3 (lived in) for a total of 19.
In terms of cities, I loved: California (San Diego's beaches and cultural venues are amazing, and San Francisco is just plain cool); Texas (San Antonio is great...I love the traditional Spanish feel and the Riverwalk area); Louisiana (New Orleans has such a unique culture and amazing architecture); and Massachusetts (Boston has it all...the culture and entertainment of larger cities, while still being a lot cleaner and less crowded).
In terms of scenery, Utah and Colorado. I love mountains. Utah has lots of gorgeous red canyons (such as Zion), and Colorado has the Rockies.
Location: Just transplanted to FL from the N GA mountains
