Most of the street names in my town are Spanish. There is an intersection at Antonio Parkway and Avenida de las Banderas where people sometimes stop and take pictures of the "Antonio/Banderas" signs.

A friend of mine lives on Forrest Ave. Back when the movie "Forrest Gump" was playing, he took down the street sign and had a professional sign painter redo it to say "Forrest Gump Ave". It lasted for about a year till the city officials discovered it.
