I'd try to make the entire state (including Indy and NWI) more conservative. Probably add some more ethnic food as well.
Indiana is already way to conservative. I would build a light rail system in Indy. A line from the airport downtown to start. We can have one for Fishers/HamCo; but those people better help PAY for it. Indy should not build light rail for Fishers commuters if those folks are not going to help pay with their tax dollars. I would also upgrade Binford Blvd to interstate grade and route I-69 through Indy rather than around it when they finish building it.
I would then put a riverboat casino on the white river downtown.

Ha, so funny. If you added tons of ethnic food, you'd likely attract a young, liberal culture, over-compensating for your conservatization attempts. You probably couldn't have both those things.
I'd like to end the culture of corruption and patronage in our city government, fire the governor, and the entire city government of Chicago (yes, even you Daley) and start over.
I'd also like to fix our public transportation system, make it run properly and expand it, address the problems of poverty and violence that seem to plague certain neighborhoods (and is currently making for a violent summer) in a meaningful way.
And finally, I'd like to do something about all those damnable Cubs fans

Sure I could. Ethnic culture and liberalism are not mutually exclusive.
Jeez, most of you throw conservative around here like it's an insult or something. This is why I don't care for liberal minded people at all--they think they're superior to everyone else.

Not sure if you directed this at me, but I do not mean it as an insult. But, I do think Indiana is allready way to conservative. Not saying that is bad, just that we don't need to make it more conservative. It is already conservative enough IMO.
