Which Pacific Northwest major city resembles California the most (culture, geography, etc)? (to live, price)

What would you classify as a major city in PNW? Just Seattle, Portland, Boise and Vancouver BC? Or does the others like Tacoma, Spokane, Salem, Eugene get to factor in?
Tough comparison. Mainly because California is so diverse it is hard to say what you are comparing it to.
If you are comparing the coastal megalopolises (SF Bay Area, LA Basin), I would say Seattle. Overcrowded, overrated, way overpriced, a bit self-satisfied (all the poseurs seem to move to these "hip" places), sprawling, surrounded by nameless towns turned suburbs, but with amazing geography nonetheless and undeniable creativity and energy. I love to visit Seattle and coastal California, but would not want to live there. I like my cities to be distinct entities, not sprawling urban areas.
Location: Moose Jaw, in between the Moose's butt and nose.

I tried to do the poll option with this to clairify, but ran into a hiccup.
Vancouver, BC, Seattle and Portland.
This might sound crazy, but I'm going to say Salem. Like a lot of places in California, it's sorta just a blah city, located in the middle of a valley, with a large hispanic population.
If you're going that route I would suggest Woodburn.
