Scranton is a very unforgiving city for the clumsy tourist. Not only are we a mess of one-way streets, but we also have streets where lines haven't been painted in so long that you can't even tell what lane you're driving in, and we also have pedestrians that just walk aimlessly into oncoming traffic. Pedestrians/bicyclists being hit by vehicles seems to be a very common occurrence here.
I honestly never really thought Scranton is any different of a city than any other American city. When you say yes Scranton is still a city I don't understand.
my mom went through PA a few months back and said it was a very pretty place, Im not sure what part but she was on her way to NYC so if Scranton is on the way then maybe Scranton was pretty.
I've been in Wilkes-Barre,but it was about 7 or 8 years ago, with my family---we were on our way to Massachusetts. I can't say Wilkes-Barre made much of an impression on me,good or bad. It might be alot different now. The area around it though(Pocono Mtns.) is very pretty.
