What about Seattle? Being west of the Cascades means an easy winter.

Seattle does have a pretty mild winter - it never really gets below 40.

Atlanta would definitely work. It's got four very distinct seasons although winter is pretty mild with usually just a dusting of snow every other year or so and an occasional cold snap. Atlanta was built in the middle of a forest, so each season is definitely noticeable.

You wouldn't be alone! In 2006-2007, more people moved to Atlanta than to any other metro area in the country according to the US Census.

I happen to love Atlanta--the CITY, not the suburbs. Summers can get a little hot for me, but fortunately Atlanta's not too far from the North Georgia Mountains and cooler weather.

Yup, it's great! A free holiday just because of a light dusting of snow!

shoot, we had days off of school where there wasn't any precipitation in sight! of course, we didn't complain. there was one year, I think it was '96, when we were out for a good 5 days in a row. It actually DID substantially snow then. (I was in Columbia).

Atlanta, and south of it have shorter, milder winters. But no real snowfall accumulation down that far.
