Does Knoxville cater to college students or do others thrive there as well?

There are 700,000 people in metro Knoxville and 27,000 college students. It's a pretty big city that happens to have a university. The largest employer here is actually the nuclear labs in Oak Ridge, not the university.

That's how Louisville is too. We have a University but we aren't a college town.
