Ive never heard the term Nuyorican...lol

But Ive heard them speak. They are a bit more amusing to listen to, but after a while the New York accent seems to take prevalence.

Yeah, I really hate the Boston accent.

I prefer the stereotypical non-accent here in the midwest. That way, you really cannot tell where someone is from.

Yup....an example of Nuyorican is Lower East Side = "loisada"......

But it's really nice, especially with the women.

For those who don't know what it is.

New York Latino English - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

That's probably the accent I have.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but the accent that drives me up the freaking wall (like finger nails on a chalk board) are those nasal midwestern accents in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Everyone in that area sounds like they're wearing nose plugs, and I can't listen to it.

On the nice side, a mild southern accent is nice, as is a mild New England accent like my wife's. The really harsh Boston accents can also be a bit annoying.
