One time my daughter, a high school gymnast at the time, went as a gymnast. She wore her warm ups and a medal she won. Someone asked her to do a trick! She did a cartwheel to get her piece of candy.

Me and my hubby went as Frankenstein and Frankensteins wife last year (I'm 6'1 and he is 6'3, we're good at big scary monsters!) and the year before that it was Britney and K-Fed. We won a costume contest for that, haha. I've also gone as Wayne and Garth from Waynes World (my friends dad had a pinto, we couldn't pass that up!) and me and a buddy of mine went as a 'German boy and girl', and since we both speak German we fell into character pretty well!

Individuals at work decided to theme a costume, which I wish they hadn't done because I find "theming" inhibiting. But in that case, I'll go as Morticia. I can pull off the look really well.

But if my husband and I do a costume party I'd go as a voodoo priestess. My husband would dress as Merlin the Wizard; I would simply be a woman of power from "the future" ~ with snake draped around my neck (fake one, of course).
